Happy Birthday to ME ME ME!!!

What a wonderful weekend. Ben turned 2 and did't he know it....He loved seeing the family and enjoyed opening the presents - he has since asked for more!!! We had a "Wiggles" cake and he is struggling to understand where it has gone. When told "In his tummy" he lifts up his top and says "No! Gone."

Only 10 days until I turn 2 and I am such a big boy. I love tipping all my toys out of boxes and climbing in them - I get so excited when Mum pushes me around the house in them. It's so much fun. My words are coming on really well - I keep talking but sometimes Mum and Dad can't understand me and I get so frustrated. I can count now to 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 4 - I think I am doing really well. My weeks are really busy. I got to "cool" (Childcare) twice a week and love it, Grampy takes me swimming on Thursdays which is good fun for me and I think Grampy like it to. I love my weekends with Dad being home and he takes me to Gymbaroo and also on trains, the ducks and lots of other things to. Anyway must go and play.

Toot Toot!!!

I love trains sooooo much - Daddy takes me on a train nearly every weekend. I know where all the train stations are around Ashburton and every time Mum drives past one I call out "TOOT TOOT" I also like 'ding dings' Trams look cool too but I haven't been on one yet.

I love playing with my Thomas tank trains - especially the ones that make noises and watching him on T.V. the music as such a catchy tune I just have to dance.

Adelaide

Wow it's February already, Mum's kept me bust over the school holidays - we went to Adelaide last week which was hot but fun. We stayed very near the beach so nearly everyday we were making sandcastles in our p.j's on the beach before 9am!!! It was great fun playing with my friends Zoe, Jarrod and baby Aiden. I also went to my Great Nan's who is 91. I loved playing with her birthday hat which was made for her to wear at her 90th. I even went to the pub for lunch with her. It was really too hot to do much else- We didn't get to go to any parks. Maybe next time.

Mum told me the other day that I was going to become a big brother in August - I'm not sure what this means but it sounds OK.

Christmas has come and gone....Bring on next Christmas!!!

Oh I am so exhausted - what with late nights and new toys to play with...so much to do.

Christmas was so much FUN!!! - I enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner at Nanny's on Christmas Eve and got some presents - the most enjoyable and messy being my new sandpit. Then on Christmas day Mum was really sick so we stayed at home while Dad went to Barwon Heads to have more food with his family - very sad we missed out but before he left I was given some more toys WOW...trucks, a lawn mower, broom and dustpan (is mum trying to say something?) books and lots and lots of other things. I was so spoilt but I deserve it.

Anyway Mum's better and now Dad's sick - I'm so good at sharing my colds! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have an even better New Year.

Not too well today

Oh I do feel sorry for myself - all I want are cuddles then more cuddles then some T.V. and then some more cuddles. The Dr says I have bronchitis and the medicine he's given me is YUMMMMMMY...... I don't feel like eating so mum is letting me have milk instead. As you can tell I'm just chilling out watching my favourtie T.V show having a bottle...

Mum and I went shopping today I had on a blue t-shirt and my funky orange shorts (made by my girlfriend, Poppy's mum - she is such a cool sewer) Anyway - I was called a girl 4 times. FOUR - can you believe it? So tonight when I was about to get into the bath Mum got the clippers out - what do you think of my new haircut? Do I look like a boy now??? I hope so cos I'm missing my curls already.
